There’s pros and cons about being the only child. The good thing is that you parents will only focus on you and basically dedicate to you as much as possible. The bad thing is that you have no one to talk to about personal problems and your parents are so worried about you in many ways such as going out late or going out with friends. In the end, everything is blamed on me. Sometimes there’s a point where I just want to get up and leave, but no, I respect my parents. I just wish I had an older sister or brother who can truly understand me and guide me through life. I feel like I’m just all alone in this world, trying the best I can to be successful in life and make my parents proud. Most people say kids who are the only child are bratty and spoiled. NOT ME. I deserve everything I own. I maintain my grades and go to work so I won’t have to always ask my parents for money. I’m the only child who thinks about my parents a lot and want their life to be easy without them holding my hand so much. I never depend on my parents for anything. I love both of them dearly and I am so thankful to still have them in my life. They just need to understand that their only, little girl is growing up.
